UCT Choir performing ‘If Ye Love Me’ by Thomas Tallis (c. 1505 - 1585).

The opening piece from our production of UCT Choir’s 2012 Album entitled ‘Afloat’.
UCT Choir is an unusually eclectic choir whose repertoire and diverse members
offer a positive reflection of South Africa’s diverse cultural heritage.

Danie Fourie performing ‘Le Cygne’ by Camille Saint-Saens

This performance of Saint-Saens ‘The Swan’ (‘Le Cygne’) by pianist
Danie Fourie was one of my favourite fruits that came out of producing
his excellent ‘Balletmusiek Nommer1’ in 2012.

Beverley Chiat performing ‘Romance’ by Puccini.

Beverley Chiat is one of South Africa’s leading coloraturas and singing teachers.
Her experiences include performing operatic roles on the international opera
circuit, most notably: ‘Queen of the Night’ in Holland.

Daniel Gadd performing ‘Oiseaux Tristes’ (Sad Birds) from Ravel’s ‘Miroirs’.

A gifted student at the South African College of Music, Daniel studies under
Albie Van Schalkwyk. Create recorded Daniel for a prolific national performance
competition. His rendering of this stark and spacious composition was too
attractive to not upload.
